Christina Haack was birthed in Anaheim California on the 9th of July, 1984. Her first job out of school was in the industry of real estate. This is where she got to know Tarek El-Moussa who would become her husband. They enjoyed great success in the years prior to 2008 when the market plummeted and many house flippers and real estate investors were bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa was nearly wiped out in the 2008 financial crisis. From a $6,000-per-month home, to a $750/month rental. Their business, and the economy as a whole, gradually rebounded. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek had a trusted friend to make an audition tape for HGTV in 2011. The tape featured him and Christina flipping the entire house. The tape landed into the hands of executive at a production company called Pie Town Productions. The two were in love with Tarek as well as Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017, the series broadcast 92 episode. Christina and Tarek acquired houses located in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. They spent the next months renovating their home in order to make it possible for them to sell into profit. Tarek is focused on the construction and remodel as Christina is more focused on layout. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. They loved Tarek along with Christina. The deal was made by the couple to HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. Over the course of seven seasons, this show aired from 2013 to 2017. In the show, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically homes with a moderate income situated in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks completing upgrades in order that they could flip the property for profit. Tarek is focused on construction and remodeling, while Christina keeps track of the time.
